Missed Delivery

Delivery will leave a ご不在連絡票(ふざいれんらくひょう) in your mailbox if you’re not at home. You can either by phone and keyboards (自動音声受付) or on the website (インターネットからの再配達) to reschedule the delivery (再配達) with preferred date and time (希望日時). Usually they will retry for 3 times, and keep your package for 7 days after last failed attempt.

To schedule redeliver you need a tracking number and some of your basic information. Go to their website (see below) and enter your tracking number, preferred date and time for redelivery, that’s it.
