There are more and more indie developers and indie small SaaS makers. It’s probably because of personal computer and the ecosystem of web/mobile apps matured. You only need a laptop to run a business and everyone wants their time back because we only live once.
Working at Honeybadger isn't crazy. We work to live, rather than live to work. We are a small, private company with no outsounding funding, and we don't subscribe to the hustle ethic that is common to much of the technology industry. Instead, we put ourselves, our families, and our health first by working at a sustainable pace (30-hour work-weeks) to provide an excellent service to awesome customers.
